Impact in action
I’ve worked across a wide range of health conditions - from sexual health to type 2 diabetes - with organisations ranging from early-stage startups to global charities and scale-ups.
The projects below give a flavour of the kinds of problems I’ve helped teams tackle, and the roles I’ve played along the way.

Defining Babylon Health's "future vision" to secure their IPO
Ahead of its IPO, Babylon Health needed a clear and compelling articulation of its long-term product vision.
I worked closely with leadership and cross-company teams to shape this, conducting in-depth patient interviews, facilitating workshops, and supporting narrative development through design and copy.
The resulting vision helped align internal decision-making and strengthened investor confidence at a critical moment of growth.
Improving exercise engagement at Pactster (now "Beam")
Pactster was an early-stage startup supporting people with chronic illness to exercise, but user engagement was low.
I led discovery and design work grounded in the COM-B model to understand what truly drives behaviour in this context.
This insights prompted a shift away from “exercise as medicine” towards enjoyment and feeling good, supporting a full rebrand.
Following this, Beam was shown to improve patient quality of life.

Increasing condom use in men for UCL
As part of an NIHR-funded project at UCL, I designed and piloted a digital intervention to increase condom use among men.
I led discovery, managed design and development, and oversaw the pilot rollout, working closely with Professor Susan Michie, and using an early version of COM-B and the Behaviour Change Wheel.
Resulted in four peer-reviewed publications.
Helping women detect breast cancer early with Breast Cancer Now
Charity Breast Cancer Now asked me to redesign their Breast Check Now app to better support early detection of breast cancer symptoms.
I led qualitative discovery and survey research to inform a behavioural analysis, then supported the development and testing of high-level UX prototypes, based on habit formation principles.
This work strengthened the app’s behaviour-centred design and ensured decisions were grounded in how women actually engage with symptom-checking tools.
